have private bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans,
writing tables, comfortable chairs and hair dryers. The
furnishings include antiques, quilts and oriental carpets. Many guests comment on the interesting books available in each
room and sometimes ask to borrow them when they leave.
Rates vary according to date and day of the week and include
breakfast for two adults. |

Blue Room - The largest room, with a blue motif, and a
favorite of many. The bath has a king-size walk-in shower.
Antique armoire, marble-top bureau and Queen-sized bed. $160
(higher on certain days), plus 11% tax. |

Tan Room - Traditionally the master bedroom of the house. The
ceramic-tiled bath has a combination tub and shower. An
antique cradle reminds us that Veralma once was the home of a
family with thirteen children. Antique dresser with wash-stand
set and Queen-sized bed. $160 (higher on certain days), plus 11% tax. |

Twin Room - Two twin-sized beds - perfect for friends or a
parent and child. The beds may be pushed together. A detached
private bath, exclusive for this room, is near-by (terrycloth
robes supplied). Furnishings include a hand-crafted armoire of
cherry with walnut and maple drawers, a triple mirror antique
dressing table and marble-top writing table. $135 (Winter
single rate) - $165 (higher on
certain days), plus
11% tax. |
